Will the NHC PLEASE put a floater on Ivan? This is an extremely dangerous situation for island folks.

i THINK there is already one on it...at least thats what i remember from reading some posts yesterday...but i dont know of any links i could provide or any way to validate this...just going by what i remember..which could be wrong:)

Its not on a floater yet. Both of them are still on Frances.

Not the GOES floaters.

There might be another one from a different source though.

Floater 1 is a zoomed in shot of Frances and Floater 2 is a wider shot of Frances.

I think it's because the people responsible for the floaters don't work on weekends.

Seriously! (At least that's what I remember reading on this board sometime back.)

I got p***ed when I checked both GOES 8 FLoaters and saw both on Frances :grr: Ivan is a fast approaching danger.

Floater movers don't work on Sundays- and thye probasbly won't work on Labor day either.

An oversight... but at least it'll keep us looking at the big picture ratherthan every frame wobble.
