#1 Postby LilNoles2004 » Sun Sep 05, 2004 11:16 am

Hurricane warning has induced a mandatory evacuation for the St. Marks, Shell Point, Spring Creek areas... I don't think I'm leaving, though... This could be fun...

Crawfordville is beyond a surge threat, but folks south of US 98 along the coast should definitely head for higher ground. Just make sure you're in a solid structure to ride out the storm.

Incidentally, Frances (3:30 pm) is about to deliver her calling card to the central Florida Panhandle....a strong line of squalls is about to hit.

The storm's entire east half has resourced the Gulf Stream from the Keys all the way up...
