the gfs (and others now) is not nearly as exciting for any of us!!

Derek, if this forecast of yours pans out, we in Barbados are goners! A system this strong passing just south of us is worse than if the eye went straight over us.

Dennis,

Do you really think I care which models show excitement? I dont give a crap about the output. I only care about the model features. When the model shows something going against the geostrophic wind, I laugh that solution off completely as dynamically, it is illogical
