cycloneye, I've been watching it all day here and on stormcarib, doing the numbers and was feeling good as the *how close can it get* got farther away (137 last night to 241), and now it's decreasing again (206 miles)...meaning inching north with NHC. What do you see?

It all depends on the trough that is in the eastern caribbean for Ivan to move more north and be much closer to Culebra and Puerto Rico.Read thread about trough and Ivan that I posted.

I KNEW I should have called for more majors on my final outlook this year ... I knew that we'd see better developed systems this year, but my goodness!
