Frances organizing, based on radar, lets see if she can strengthen, movement to the west

Seems like the core of the system has been distroyed. Kind of like Isiodar???

Actually, Frances currently reminds me of Isidore ('02), a very similar storm in terms of the size of circulation, and how it looked after it lumbered across the Yucatan Peninsula and into the Gulf, never regaining its former ferocity.

We'll see what the old girl has left in her during the next 12-18 hours.

We'll see what's left..there are squalls beginning to wrap around the eastern side of the center over the water...

The last two recon vortex messages confirms your idea of at least a short-term west motion. It still looks pretty lousy on radar, however, and the pressure is status quo, so if it is strengthening, it is doing so quite slowly.
