Is the new 00Z ETA on crack? or...

#1 Postby mobilebay » Sun Sep 05, 2004 9:56 pm

is it onto something with the 00Z data. It takes frances inland on the panhandle and moves her westwerd as the trough retreats. Up until now all models recurvred her.

yep the ETA is on Crack. The 18Z Model had this thing going off the coast of Georgia and into The SC coast. So thats a 1,000 mile shift about. ITs crack. Not a good hurricane model anyway.

"If you see a sign that says say no to crack, and it reminds you to pull your jeans up, you might be a redneck.

The 0Z models for ETA and GFS like the coast line.

ETA parallel to panhandle.

GFS parallel to peninsula.
