A WESTWARD-MOVING TROPICAL WAVE IS LOCATED ABOUT 700 MILES SOUTHWEST
OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS. THIS SYSTEM HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS.

I'm afraid the train is rolling. Looks like three or possibly four areas where a storm could develope comming from the Cape Verdes.

At 6°N? Isn't that a little far south for likely development? Not only that but it's not far behind Ivan and looks like it would be catching part of its wake.

The wave is more north if you look the pic it is the scattered convection around 10-11n.

Time to evacuate Afganistan and look for Bin Laden on the Western shores of Northern Africa. This must be his doing. Definately looks like a terrorist attack lately! Make it stop, make it stop!
