Hey, if more people in New Orleans had a hurricane!!...or maybe two, the crime rate would'nt be that bad. Let's all go to Pat O's!!

Ocean springs is a really nice place. I have family that just moved down there and they absolutely love it. I had my car stolen in New Orleans about two years ago though. Needless to say I only go back when I have to  . Hopefully things change within the next decade.

Thanks, but I'll keep my nice 4 bedroom house in Diamonhead where you can walk the streets at night and not worry about being murdered......MGC

Yeah, but you may get so lost you'll never find your way home. Ah, the streets of Diamondhead, more tangled than Medusa's snakes.

After living temporarily in a number of larger cities, and in pretty much every section of Mississippi (north, central, and coastal) I'd have to say I love the coast the most. Like BC says there's a lot to do here and if you want some big city fun, NOLA's only an hour away. Just 60 minutes to go laugh at tourists wearing Mardi Gras beads in July and stumbling around "drunk" off knockoff Hurricanes.
