I enjoyed our weather the last couple of days

We got a lot of rain and mild winds. I was sitting on my porch Sunday night enjoying the winds. I also enjoy the fact that I am at work today and not without electric and no house to go home to.

I would like to send money to help Florida people BUT I am so scared about fraud and people taking the money for themselves. Similar to 9/11 charties. Any charity out there that is a reliable and my money WILL go to the familes in need? I feel so sorry for the people in mobile homes that got wiped out.

I would so the Red Cross but I know there were quite a few California wildfire victims that got gypped out of their fair share. Maybe there's a faith-based affiliate that's helping out.

The people in our little apartment complex were all out Sunday evening cooking stuff on the grills because we thought the power would go out.

There were transformers blowing left and right around the neighborhood but our power stayed on through the whole thing.

There are still thousands without power in Jacksonville and surrounding communities.
