Sheesh - I saw footage this morning from Gadsen I believe...
I remember a few years ago when another one came through like this we had a major tornado in Moncks Corner that wiped away part of Cedar Island (Fairlawn) --- People underestimate how dangerous remnants can be.

Had a post on that last night ... In Moncks Corner, SC during the extratropical phase of Hurricane Earl (which still sustained winds of 50 mph ...), several discrete supercells produced tornadoes in the Lowcountry ... one in Cottageville which struck a mobile home and injured badly someone I went to school with's mother (also was my best friend at the time's fiance ...), and of course, the Fairlawn Subdivision took very heavy damage, in which many residents said was WORSE than Hugo ... the tornado was rated F3 ...
Also TV2 just reported in Johns Island, a 50 ft tree downed earlier today in strong thunderstorm winds ...
