eye shrinking - down to 10NM

and what does this mean: "EYE 0.5 MILE FROM SOUTH EYEWALL"?

We really could be looking at Ivan becoming a Cat 4 overnight tonight...

They got the max wind in the NE Quad. They are noting that the pure center of lowest pressure was .5 miles inside from the southern eyewall. My question, how about a wind reading on the western eyewall where the coldest cloud tops are occuring?
