Not sure I know what you mean.

Thanks!

Harbormaster wrote:I think that you all do a great job. My fiance begs to differ. She is fed up with the season because I am hooked on this board!!! I am more of an observer than a poster because the latest info is here. The mudslinging is annoying, but whenever there are differing opinions, it is going to happen. Be it politics, sports, hurricanes..... it is a beautiful thing to see so many different walks of life share their opinions. For the most part, the members of this board are professional in their quandries....

Thanks again to all who make this possible and keep up the good work!

Great post Harbormaster! Well said!

I lurked a week before Frances before I finally joined. I've found this site immensely helpful, even though a lot of what everyone says is way over my head. The only downside I've seen is when Frances was almost on top of FL there were some who were insisting it was going, um, elsewhere. I found that irresponsible of those posters. I would hope if someone wants to post something that flies in the face of what everyone else is saying, they at least bother to back it up & say why.

Personally, I think you guys are doing a great job. I'm an IT professional and appreciate the effort it takes to keep an active board like this functional. Not everyone is going to be happy at times, that's just life...but I think you all are doing a great job and providing a great service to those of us that live in the shadow of Tropical Weather. Hats off to all the great forecasters here.

There's a lot more traffic on this board this year to police, but for the most part I think the moderators do a great job. I saw them yank a couple of threads yesterday that were getting out of hand. Some of what I see is some good-natured ribbing that is taken the wrong way. I might have been guilty of that a time or two.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I'm closing this thread and letting it fall off to make room for more weather threads. Any more comments can be made in the sticky at the top of the forum. "To All Members - Please Read"

If anyone sees a questionable post just look at the bottom of the main board page. The Moderators and Admins that are logged in will show as different color. Just send one of them a PM with the name of the thread and they'll look into it! The staff does try very very hard to keep this board clean but we've been shorthanded due to the weather. :-( If everyone pitches in and helps then we'll all be better off. It's your board too. :-)
