I have a curse. Everything over TS seems to strike me or mine.
For the record:

1. I have home on Palma Sola in Cortez (just S. of Tampa) Frances eye grazed us and dumped 8 inches of rain on us, left house untouched but washed away our camp.

2. My parents have a home which I regularly use in Casuarina, Abaco (that very end of the island where Frances sat for 36 hours). Dock, all trees, outbuildings, fences, one window, partial roof are gone. The yard is now a sandbox.

3. We have a boat at Palmetto (just S. of Tampa), Frances ripped out all canvas coverings, now all electronics covered with plastic and duct tape.

3. I fled my Palma Sola Bay home to head inland to Arcadia for Charley. He switched paths at the last second and ended up hitting my parents and sisters homes as a Cat 4. Lost barn, 7 oaks, partial roof, sheds, porches, no lives, thankfully! And it was a terrifying thing to feel that old house breathe up and down and feel my ears pop while listening to oaks crashing down around and the tin screaming as it peeled back from the roof.

4. Frances is now dumping massive amounts of rain on Northeast Tennessee, where my folks currently are in their summer home.

We are all thankful for being alive but I'm wondering if a move to Alaska isn't in order.
