I do not see why his age matters! He should be commended for doing this. I know a few adults who do not even put out forecasts but criticize others for theirs. Good job nc!

Floydbuster is another example. He is 15 and has put out his forecast tracks which are dead on with the NHC.

This is not talking about where Ivan will hit, it's simply stating that the panhandle is part of Florida also, and that Ivan "may" spare S. Florida.

good points but maybe sometimes it does need to be said..that people care.
I too have reacted at times to the posts here that express the joy and excitment of watching the technical aspects of hurricanes while the people factor is often ignored.
Maybe those of us in the islands are a little more hyper sensitive to that.

From what I recall of the caribbean - construction standards are often very poor and many people live in very flimsy buildings, so I'm not all that surprised.

If Ivan hits Jamaica dead on at even cat 3 the damage will be terrible.

Whoa! The Subject Title isnt "Look at Grenada Getting Slammed". It's Image of Ivan Hitting Grenanda".

I understand your position and why seeing the post of that particular satellite photo may be a sore spot for islanders right now. I'm sure no harm was meant. Please dont read something that isnt there. I think folks were more awed by the sheer size and power of Ivan than Gee! Look at Ivan smack the crap out of Grenada. I'm sure that wasnt the intent at all.
