Wow Bev! A 7th generation Floridian, you ARE a rare one. My son is so proud to say he was really born in Florida - I'll have to tell him about you!
Wonderful post, bet we read a lot of the same books:)

A woman on the (Cola, SC) news last night, bruised, bandaged, and with an eye swollen shut, described how lucky she felt after her house and all her belongings were taken away by a tornado. She smiled and thanked God as she described shielding her daughter with her own body as their home exploded and they were lifted into the air. All that mattered to her was that she and her daughter were alive. I wish I could remember her eloquent way of saying how everything else could be replaced.
