Dr. Neil Frank says Ivan will likely move into the GOM and everyone along the Texas coast should keep an eye on the track. Low key, but not out of the woods yet.

Dewpoint is going up ... that suggests to me he may be done intensifying for a while ...

Don't think this quite gets him to Cat 5 - strong Cat 4 at the 5pm, IMHO.

To convert knots to MPH, multiply the knots by 1.15. Therefore 130 kts = 149.5 mph

comparing to charely, a lot especially tom on chan 6...

he just had a graphic comparing the two tracks and how they are basically the same.

Also that the synoptic patterns are exactly the same.
