Does anyone know if they have one for Ivan?
I have such a hard time negotiating the nhc.noaa web site to find these things.
Help me find this model

It's here:

FWIW, just change the part where your link says "FRANCES" to say "IVAN" instead.

What are the models called that show the water temps in the Caribbean and GOM?
I'll do a google for it if I know the name, or feel free to have mercy on me and link to it directly.
I looked around at the links on Storm2k but since I don't know what it's called, I didn't have any luck.

One thing I've noticed over the years are people calling lots of things that aren't "models" "models."
The NHC forecast track isn't a "model." It's a human being's guess at a track. A model is a computerized simulation of the atmosphere, which does produce a track for a given storm.
If I sit down and scribble a track where I think Ivan will go on a map, I haven't just created the "Derecho Model."
Any sort of line showing a forecast track on a map, on TV, on the web, may or may NOT be a "model."
And a graphic showing SSTs isn't a model either.

Well, a model in my house as of two weeks ago, had something to do with lego's.
Since then, I'm trying to learn what they mean in language associated with the weather.
Thanks for the education.
So, then, what is it called so I don't make that mistake again?
