IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN SAVE FLA?

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Oh, I can see it now. He'll give everyone enough money to rebuild as long as they have Mickey Mouse ears surgically grafted onto their heads. Food everywhere will be the same nasty mass-produced crap and will be sold at 3000% markup. The state song will become "It's a Small World." Floridians will have to worship at the Church of Eisner every Sunday and pledge allegiance to the dollar.

Yech.

On a more serious note, it's early in the game. A Florida strike is not set in stone. Also, even if Ivan does hit Florida, Ivan would certainly weaken a bit after hitting Cuba, maybe enough to knock it down to Cat 3.

Hang in there!
