Wide Right Again! Miami 26N FSU Ensemble 25N ?

#1 Postby tropicstorm » Wed Sep 08, 2004 10:24 pm

What a game! Not 6 times in a row! Looks like track is continuing to shift east / right. Can this possibly be true - FSU goes down again? Look out Miami - for Ivan & the amazing inspiration of the FSU players this weekend. Sympathies & prayers for the Bowden family.

No, no, no.

It's:

Username: Gators
Password: Suck!

Heh. Had to do that on behalf of my two FSU daughters. ;)

It's been shifting East. However, after the 00Z models I think they will shift back West. The Only model I've seen so for that has shifted East on the 00Z is the CMC wich is the West Outlier anyway. I think the slightly further west track can be blamed on Initial conditions that the Synoptic Planes have measured. Once again, I think the models have underestimated the strength of the 500 MB ridge. IMO
