Florida is, on average, what 150 miles across, so if you have a storm like Frances or Ivan with hurricane force winds extending 75-80 miles outward, no matter what coast, (especially if the storm cuts across!!!), even the most inland parts are nailed.

But I DID save a lot of money by switching to Geico.

(when will Geico underwrite homeowners insurance in FL?)
