My windows are still shuttered.
When I was at the grocery story yesterday, I noticed a huge shortage. No eggs, no water, half empty aisles. This was a Publix in a fairly heavily populated suburb. People here are going to buy early. In one hour, I'm going to restock on all essential food, water, and gas.
The only thing left to do IF Ivan comes is drive to Orlando.
I'm getting my hurricane supplies today

Colin,
I was able to get gas, eggs, dairy and meat at the local BJ's club here in Merritt Island. They kept their freezers going by generator the whole time and lost nothing but produce. Maybe you have one there in Miami?
Unbelieveable, but I managed to get all of this stuff in less than 20 minutes.
Good luck to you. Jeez...and to me for that matter... another storm in the NE quandrant if it verifies.

I feel for you and don't blame you a bit. With things being in short supply and the predictions I am sure you are right and people will be grabbing what ever they can get asap.
Prayers are with you all down there.
