I've owned an 8088 (DOS, monochrome monitor, no mouse), a 386 (It actually ran windows 95), a 486-66, which I upgraded with a P90 Overdrive processor and upgraded ram. I still have it for the kids homework and some games. See above for current machine.
Hey Coriolis,
Not exactly a youngster, how about 29 and holdin'

. Actually my very first computer, if you want to go way back, was a Compucolor II. I worked for Intecolor Corp. in Norcross, GA in the late 70's and they produced it. I just never really considered it a "PC". IBM coined that phrase just a couple of years after we started manufacturing the CCII.
It was a color CRT, had a TI8080A processor. 8k of ram. 5 1/2" floppy disk. The OS was called Extended Disk Basic. I never really owned it, hehe, it was just on perpetual loan from my boss

. We had a bunch of arcade style games for it. Space invaders, Star trek, eventually Pac Man etc.
I'm sure you have heard of Hayes Modems. They were just a short walk from our building. Dennis Hayes would come down the street, with one of his modems in hand and let us test it for him. He would go back to his place and we would dial up his "server" and yack back and forth. He would tell us to tweak it this way or that way, pretty neat stuff to see as a teenager!!
You mentioned the first gen calculator....... Do you remember how much it cost?
