Overheard by Michael Moore's neighbor:

"George Bush has a secret weather machine and he is using it to create hurricanes so he can win Florida! Now pass me my tinfoil hat!!"

haha. That is just too much. I mentioned to a Cuban co-worker(who was born in Cuba) that Cuba will get destroyed and she replied "it already was destroyed by Castro". True, true.

<P>It remains to be seen what Ivan's intensity will be at a Florida landfall and the quality of construction in Florida is certainly superior to Havana's. Certainly the possibility of devastation in Florida can't be discounted at this time. But it's almost a certainty in Jamaica and Cuba.

Look I'm not trying to argue with u. It's a small map, just like the thread starter has OK. If they don't like it, they can take it down.

Great point. Cat 3 seems reasonable at this time but it could be even weaker depending on what track it takes over Cuba and the corresponding shear he runs into.
