#1 Postby wankelman » Fri Sep 10, 2004 9:23 am

Not sure if this has been discussed? Are they still scheduled to play tonight? If they order the evacuation of the Lower Keys today, where do they think all of this people are going? Miami! Going to be kinda of busy down there for the next couple of days.....

Are you kidding? I'd wade through a neck-deep flood in the middle of a hurricane and simultaneous earthquakes to go to a Canes/Noles game! :-)

Looking forward to the game tonight. I think we all need a little bit of a break after the last couple of weeks, and what may be approaching!

Absolutely!
Everyone should look forward to it and enjoy!
I thank the promoters/producers of the game for the distraction.
Let's see if we can get a quickie fund together to buy tickets for the Keys evacuees!

With the evac's on top of the Frances gas shortages, It's really much to expect people to travel the state for the game.
I'm sure you die hards will go but to tell you the truth, you are using gas that could be used to evacuate people and help save lives.

However, being a football fan, I can understand.
Don't know who I'm rooting for, probably the noles even though I am not a noles fan, I'm even less of a Canes fan.

Agreed - this is one jus to watch on TV. Let the limited resources in south fl stay there for those in true need.
