i just still can't help thinking that some of these models are "biased" (not that it is not possible) in that they are pointing to charlotte harbor (the GFS and the BAM). granted i do not know the slightest thing about models but i understand computing and feel that they might have some memory stored from charley's hit in that location as well as his proir track (i.e. going over the west of cuba, etc.) and expected to skirt the west coast of florida...i would really appreciate any thoughts on this or at least someone to set me straight on the matter...i know i have mentioned this on a few threads but have not really gotten a response as to whether or not models keep a memory of recent storms/hurricanes or is it soley unequivicably (sp) related to present atmospheric/oceanic conditions?

Why do people keep posting the same topics over and over. It would be much easier if people would respond on a topic all ready made. Not calling you out or anything stormindan, i'm calling everyone out. surprised the mods hasn't addressed this issue. For example have one thread for Pressure, Wind speed, models, flooding, so on and so on. Like I said don't take this as an insult because everyone does it. Just trying to make a great board a better one.

Sorry it wasn't directed toward anyone on this thread. I could have placed my post on any thread. I mean we have like 5 topics that are the same on the first page alone. It would be so much nicer if people would stick to a thread instead of posting a new one about the same topic every time they get an idea. Maybe this thread should be titled: ideas for posting to make it easier on everyone. Like you could have a thread for each of the models. So when one comes out you don't have 7 people posting the same topic on individual threads. I don't know if anyone understands what I am saying, but if you have ever been to the ACC Boards i'm sure you do.

No no you did NOT ask a stupid question. The other people just need to understand that some of us cannot be on this message board 24 hours a day and therefore are unaware that the questions they want to ask have already been asked. Its not your fault. You can ask what you need and someone will help you. That is what this board is all about: helping each other, not complaining. Dont be affraid to ask questions my friend. You are good
