Anyone else buy the Passion?
How many of the estimated 2.5 MILLION copies sold yesterday did you buy of the "Passion of the Christ?" We bought one....at 0730, we went to Walmart and stood in LINE
Our WalMart only received 300 copies, needless to say, they sold out by 0840

We bought it and watched it...TWICE so far.
Debi's only words afterward were, "WOW..."
But, being the "talented amateur historian" I am, I noticed discrepancies...the Latin was medieval, not ancient (but the Aramaic was dead on!); the armor was 200 years too late for the period, and Pontius Pilatus, procurator et pontifex romana, was not nearly as convincing, or ruthless, as portrayed in the film.
Yet, the MESSAGE was powerful...too much so to express herein with mere words.
