I have a feeling, Ivan is going to stall....

....somewhere over the western tip of Cuba, with the way things are suddenly shaping up. The ridging to his north and the front/trough getting squeezed out. I wouldn't be surprised to see a stall, then a sudden shot off to the NNE into the big bend area of Florida, or the upper west coast of Florida. Sort of like a slingshot.

the way things are setting up, I think that's not a bad forecast. Right now it has no where to go until that trough over the central us digs down, and that's if it digs down far enough south to pickup ivan, but seems like best scarnio now.

The trough getting squeezed out? No.

Once its turns north it'll only speed up. Give it another 12 hours.
