Good news from Germany as she was operated and it was a good one and the better thing is that she doesn't have gunshot wounds so I think she will be in her home very soon. :D

This is one tough young lady! She still needs a little time to talk through her ordeal with some professionals. The psychological effects are probably much worse than her physical ones! She still has a long way to go but she'd definitely on her way! :D

Yes Marshall, and she has millions of Americans praying for her tonight....we're all pulling for her!

Someone asked me today were we related (after seeing my website). I said no, but I feel almost as if she's my own daughter. I believe a lot of Americans feel that way tonight. Jessi's our daughter...our niece...our little sister. We worried about her, prayed for her, grieved when they found bloody female army uniforms. We all celebrated and cried when she was rescued on Tuesday evening, and now we pray for her full recovery.

I haven't forgot about the other brave men and women in that Iraqi desert, especially not our heroes held captive and missing in action; but I don't apologize for the way I feel about this brave young lady. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for cute little country girls from Appalachia with a kind heart and pretty smile....because my mom was one :)
