It's definitely west of the forecast track, but look at it from the full 12 hour loop, rather than from one frame to the next.

All I see is better outflow to the NE side of the storm, I do not see a change in direction

watch the whole storm not just eye. We'll need at least 4 more frames...to be sure

Hmm, I can kind of see it now if you look at it that way.

Yea I notice it alot more on the visible loop, especially looking at the whole storm. Definitely preparing for a NW turn.

Well it seems that the visible and infrared tell to different stories. So we will see in the long run.

Isn't it the direction of the eye that matter's? :?:

I mean, it's not like the rest of the storm is going anywhere without the eye...

I'm not saying it's not about to turn, but I certainly do not see it by watching the eye; and to me, if the eye doesn't turn, there is no turn.

I sure don't see it. Looks like he's moving WNW and hasn't deviated one bit.

Lets get one thing straight im not -removed-, now on visible loop it seems to tell a different story then the infrared loop. So we will see in the long run on what this system going to do.

The eye is what the overwhelming majority of us track storms by.

Judging by the whole storm, he's also grown south.

Last NHC plot put the motion at 300. What it looks like may be different fron what it is. All large TC's do loop de loops related to eyewall movement.

And you, das, are A#1 in that book. Isn't that ironic?

I have been saying between Pensacola and Panama City since Monday. So buzz off!

Dude, the sooner it turns, the further east from me it goes. I'd be the last person on this board to wish a storm to landfall near them.

Once it turns completely, I think we'll know with high certainty where it will hit.

Yeah, me too.

Show me a NW turn, and I'll be the first to jump on the bandwagon.
