Maybe just maybe turn has commence
Latest Hi-Resolution visible satellite loop shows a northward turn after a temporary stall. We need to see more evidence but this could be the turn that has been anticiapted for the last day.

I don't mean to laugh or be rude, but the satellite tracking has adjusted, not the hurricane. Look at the whole image, and you'll see that everything jumps north. It also jumped east about an hour ago.

das8929. i only have this to say to you. we are probably more prepared here in the panhandle of florida, alabama, and mississippi just because we have to go through this drill every year unlike other areas of our great country. trust me we are watching this monster and will survive if IT SHOULD hit here.

We must not be seeing the same thing, because on my screen everything didnt just jump north. Florida, and the other landmass didn't move at all.

I cannot count the threads in the last two days saying "Is it doing its turn North?" Sadly, they've all been wrong. It's just been wobbles if that so far. Clearly, any real turn will be evident over a longer period, so waiting for a whole, say, six-hour stretch of obvious NW movement might make more sense. Although I can understand why people, for example, in New Orleans might want to see the turn now, six hours won't make any difference. Let's hope at least one person heeds that advice and doesn't start another thread on this prematurely.
