What the Bamm Models tell me...

#1 Postby DESTRUCTION5 » Mon Sep 13, 2004 8:03 am

They tell me that Mr Trough is ready to shear the piss out of mr Ivan prior to landfall...I see Ivan coming ashore no higher than CAT 2 status somewhere in between N.O. and Pensicola...Not good news but better for sure...

Yes sp many people are looking at what the storm is now rather then hat it will be.It will be at the most a low 3 or like you said a 2 as once it gets up in the Gulf if it ever does it will weaken.

Also guidence says it also will be going slow so lots of time before any landfall for the shear to make the thing a weak 2 before landfall.

What are the odds that Ivan might go along the panhandle coastline as shown by the most recent BAMM?

Why would you be looking at what the BAMM is saying for a Cat 5 hurricane? That makes no meteorological sense. BAMM is not made for Cat 5's.

Plus...the trough is not that strong.
