Maybe this will add some welcome comic relief for you all. When I saw the thread title, I thought "LA" meant Los Angeles. I thought, "Whoa! There's a pacific hurricane on its way to LA?!"

Whoops! :-) As for Louisiana and Ivan, I think its current movement is good for you guys.

I have kids that are 2 and 8. It is enough alone not to have to do without power and A/C with them in NOLA heat.

I hope we're out of the woods, but I'm boarded up and ready to go if we are not.
