I think that the east coast should watch Jeanne and carla

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

I think that these two storms will likely to become Hurricanes move towards the east coast . I know i was wrong Ivan but I think that either jeanne or carla or both will come up the east coast as a major Hurricane.

  I've been plugged into "the storm matrix" (thanks to MW for a great term) for entirely too long!! Saw the topic header and thought "Dear Lord what more can this season bring? Now we have monster 'canes returning from the dead!!!"

Karl not Carla. Phew.

Florida Keys Jeanne Question

#11 Postby kempshark » Tue Sep 14, 2004 11:07 am

Okay, what do you guys think? I'm supposed to go to the Lower Florida Keys either 9/18-9/25 or 9/25-10/2. Jeanne looks like it will be somewhere east of there on the 19th. Then again, there's more "stuff" coming of Africa. Which week would you pick, given the current conditions?

Oh, by the way, I was supposed to go down there back on 8/12 (Charley hit SW FL on the 13th), and I was supposed to go down there on 9/3 (Frances started pounding the East coast on the 4th, and I live in the Tampa Bay area) and I had to stay home to batten down the hatches. :x

Normally I hope for a fishing trip with decent weather.......this year I'm starting to hope for one with less than tropical storm force weather!!!

I'm certainly no expert, but I don't see that at all, and no one else seems all that concerned about it either.

Too much premature gloom and doom.

How can someone talk about Karl (or Carla for that matter) when there is not even an area of disturbed weather close to being a Depression let alone a Storm?? :?:
