Website on road conditions in Ala and Miss?

#1 Postby RevDodd » Tue Sep 14, 2004 10:12 am

There are a bunch of folks from my neck of the woods planning to caravan down to Texas A&M for a game Saturday. I'm looking for Web sites they can check before leaving that will give them updated status of roads, evacuation routes, etc.

I already told them to bag any thought of I-10 to Houston. Would their best bet be I-40 over to Memphis and down? We're open to suggestions.

thanks!

Ther is significant construction on I-10 West so expect considerable delays if you are considering it for evacuation west of Lake Charles. I'm not current on construction east of Lake Charles.
