i think jeanne will head south. if it heads to the carolinas with ivan stalled out, jeanne will be ripped apart

According to the NHC 11am advisory, only the GFS and GFDL weaken the ridge to the north of Jeanne while all the remaining others maintain it and even build it slightly further westward. So I dont really see it following your forecast until more of the models agree with the GFS/GFDL.

If Ivan is nearby, I would not bet on it getting very strong at all.

Jo96 - that possibility certainly exists, but its too far away to contemplate any possible future track and/or landfall.

that forecast is in agreement with those models, and the consensus. GFS and GFDL are near bermuda, while mine is approaching florida
