If it says wave height on it maybe it measures storm surge..

NOAA's Wave Watch III output. This model forecasts swell height, wind wave height, wave period, wave direction and wind speed and direction. Pretty much the surfer's bible

I wonder if its run off the FSU Forecasting though...Because it had the wave heights nailed for like 5 days like i said..

I don't think so...I think NAVY meteorologists developed the model

It also nailed Charley long before others. It was the only model I followed for years.
