I'll bite...now just take a look at it. I'm sure it's easy to know why.

Moved from West Texas to a rocker neighborhood, and they called me little redneck, which morphed into Little Redder. I joined the surf team that next summer and traded in all my Willie and Waylon albums for some Ozzy and Judas Priest, but all through HS everyone still called me Redder.

Somebody told me the first handle I had was unoriginal. Just happened to be listening to RHCP at the time.

How original is that?

I'm not a meterologist or
A meterologist's son,,,
But I know a bad storm
When I see one...............

"GABE" ? Well, I am a clueless female, the town idiot when it comes to weather, so I thought I'd use a guy's name so that all you folks (guys AND gals) who really know what you're doing would pay more attention if I had a question...........

prayers for Ivaneer's..........

Miss Mary

#14 Postby Miss Mary » Tue Sep 14, 2004 1:27 pm

My first name is Mary. And a good friend from our Weather Channel Chat Room days nicknamed me Miss Mary. So it stuck. When I joined Storm2K I tried the nic Mary, but it was taken. So when Miss Mary was available, it seemed like the easy solution. Another friend from our chat days has nicknamed me Hail Mary. Now that does seem more appropriate for a wx board but somehow the good Catholic in me from years past, couldn't type that! LOL

But I'd much prefer if you all just called me.....

Mary

I created this name back in the GoPBI days. I was new to the Gulf Coast and new to tropical weather. Allison sent me on a wild Yahoo search for somewhere to interact with people and get more info about what was happening with the weather (more than just a forecast map and a discussion, that I didn't quite understand). I found GoPBI back then and picked the name because of where I live and how wet my feet were after walking into work that day and how the weather was made for ducks. Got to know a few folks there but hated the format and attacks. Got an invite here. Looked around, love the format and the people. Kept the original name and stuck around. :)

I love talking weather (and many other things such as politics as some of you have noticed ;) ). Because of my love for weather, my nickname is weather (wx) 24/7. I would have added 365, but you get the point.

therock=Jesus or, alternately, a character in World Wrestling Entertainment programming
18=my age until last month
11= favorite number is one, so doubled that and made 11.

LOL, this is a VERY good topic - I love reading
everyone's stories!

I chose "breeze" because of the calm suggestion
of the name - and, generally, I am a calm person,
unless I'm pushed WAY far - then, I can be
"Nightmare Twister"! ;)
