How will I make out in East Baton Rouge Parish in Louisiana?

Staying with my niece inEast Baton ROuge. What will I experience in the way of wind and rain? Cind52 (refuge from marrero)

Most likely depends on where exactly the storm makes landfall. Hurricane force winds extend about 100 miles from the center.

You might get some squally weather, so long as Ivan stays on track. If Ivan decides to head west for osme inexpplicable reason there would be a problem...
