More frequent satellite

#1 Postby PurdueWx80 » Tue Sep 14, 2004 3:05 pm

I'm not sure if the Mods or Admins want to add this link to the weather pages, but these satellite images are updated more frequently than the NHC floater...usually. They are also not experiencing as much traffic as the NHC site, so it may be quicker to use them for now.

Ivan is lookin' mighty organized this afternoon - looks as if he has totally fought off the dry air, and as soon as that eye contracts a bit...boom!?!?

Is it just me, or is Ivan really determined to go due N? He just doesn't seem to be making much progress west.

I'm praying I'm seeing that right.

4 PM CDT advisory shows 24.2N 86.1W, that's .5N and .1W in the last 3 hours. BTW, that's a great link Purdue, thanks!
