My worst fear is that he is going to catch so many by surprise somehow because they weren't in the "cone" or center of the cone. Even more scary are those in it who decide to ride out the storm. You would have to be some kind of a nut!!
Anyone else agree ?

Even way up here in Ohio I have grown weary listening to meteorologists and checking models. My best guess is that no one is going to get it right. Ivan is going to do what he da*n pleases and has already defied the odds how many times?

down here in Lafayette, west of the cone, everyone is gassing up their cars and making preparations to flee just in case Ivan does something unthinkable. People around this area are generally on edge about this storm and very nervous about it. Traffic coming home was absolutely HORRENDOUS. Evangeline Thruway and other major roads were far heavier than normal traffic. Gas stations are packed to overflowing. This probably has to do with rush hour also, but Ive refueled and taken those routes every Tuesday and Thursday before during rush hour, and they are never that bogged down. This storm has scared the ever living $#!+ out of people.
