Ship ID WPPO about 204 miles slightly north of due east of Ivan is reported sustained wind of almost 60 mph one hour ago.
That's strong tropical storm force wind over 200 miles from the cane!

Buoy 42003 recently reported 51 mph sustained winds at 132 miles NNE of Ivan <b>with a wave height of 32.8 feet.</b>
