Think of us as you say your prayers

#1 Postby ursa minor » Tue Sep 14, 2004 10:34 pm

I am turning in after a long long day and tomorrow will be even longer. Say a prayer for those of us in Mobile/Baldwin I fear that we will need it. Good Night.

Praying for you all in Mobile, the surrounding Gulf communities, and further inland where major flooding looks imminent. God bless!

Good luck to all on the coast and for us inland too. I've got a really bad feeling about this storm. I'm hoping the winds won't be as bad up here as I'm thinking they will be. I just want to get this storm over with. :(

Get some good rest, and we'll all be thinking of you guys in the days to come. Take care and be safe!

I feel like the world is coming to an end. This is just crazy - they are not making us North of I10 evacuate. Why are they making us feel like we won't live past Thursday. I do think the media is over doing this somewhat. I guess to make sure everyone takes this seriously enough to evacuate. They need to let the rest of us know that we will survive. Are the rest of the Mobile people on this board staying in town -- I am.

jes, we are staying. actually we are staying at our house on dog river, even though we were ordered to leave (because of the mandatory evacuation). at first we were going to leave, but my dad is still dead set on staying here so if something happens he can try to fix it immediately. sounds stupid huh? my boyfriend and i might leave the river tomorrow and go to his parents house in west mobile, but that is as far as i am going. good luck!

If the storm hits where the NHC has it making landfall, I pray that you make it back to tell us what it was like.

This is not directed at you, but I have to wonder why people risk their lives over material possessions.

Good Luck.
