Plowing through FL to get to the GOM?????

I dont like the sound of that one bit. I can only imagine since you live in Homestead that everytime somebody says its gonna hit South Florida, those images of Andrew keep haunting you. I know how that must feel.

Every time a model or someone like Joe B says "plowing through S FL" or "in the FL Straits in 6-7 days" it NEVER EVER materializes. lol

Roland Steadham came on at 11PM last night and pretty much said flat out that it was going north, nothing to worry about. I was very surprised at how certain he seemed.

roland said the same thing at 5 pm yesterday. roland is just nervous about his doppler radar getting blown over in that tower on I-75 in Miramar. that tower doesnt look real stable to me.

Discussing Frances is a bit off-topic for a Jeanne discussion, but yes, I believe it was a 2 in more ways than one...

Frances was the #2 hurricane to hit Florida in three weeks. And as a Central Florida resident directly affected, THAT was major.
