Ivan crawls to the S. Appalachians and rains itself out.
Jeanne meanders for a while before crossing south FL, stopping, and then accelerating back to the NE, all because of an impressive polar vortex and trough that brings the 540 thickness line down to central Ohio. Lake effect snow possible in the U.P. ??
Gotta love all the possibilities in September.
