To everyone from LA to AL...

#1 Postby HollynLA » Wed Sep 15, 2004 5:54 am

Stay safe in this storm, I wish no one was in the path of this thing but unfortunately, that is impossible. It looks as though even if it does head towards NO, and MS, the east side is the worst side, so MS and AL will get hammered just as hard. Who would have though that one storm could impact 3 (possibly 4, FL) states. I'm prepared, I've got my supplies but I'm admitting to being a little nervous right now.

Also, could everyone check in occasionally after the weather starts to let everyone know how it's going. I will try to as long as I can, unfortunately, I expect the power to go out almost asap. Local entergy man said a wind of 40mph could put it out.

Best wishes
Holly

You too Holly. Me and my family are going to a local shelter to ride it out sometime this afternoon. Everyone take care, be safe and God bless!
