Jeanne is trying to become organized, but due to the geography of PR, that might be impossible. The center of the storm has made landfall. We will have to wait and see what her strengthening will be.

Looks like it may have to deal with Hispanola as well. That island has ripped the guts out of more than one tropical system. :-)

If it does head towards Hispanola then that may indeed save it it from rapid intensification
