a hurricane is a surface low pressure and a upper level high pressure if i remember correctly. ivan is a strong storm but has it goes inland and disintergrates the surface pressure will increase. will there be a decrease in the upper level pressures has well?
the reason i ask is if ivan's upper level pressure drops after landfall and for the next few days would it have a steering efect on jeanne? i would think that it would reach a point if jeanne increases in intensity then she would be drawn in the direction of ivan.
