#1 Postby canecaster » Wed Sep 15, 2004 3:30 pm

Why does recon data seem to be so scarce on the board this afternoon?
Now is when we rally need it

They are in there...giving updates every 3 hours or so just like the plan says. THere will be one soon enough...we just gotta be patient (I know it's hard, I keep updating the recon page every 30 sec).

I heard a partial report earlier today that they had to cancel a mission. I don't know if they ran into mechanical difficulty with one of the planes or what. But I did hear them discussing something about having to cancel one of the earlier missions.

wow, the satellite presentation of Ivan looks downright terrifying, i know they have a "plan" as far as recon goes, but i think its a great dis-service for there not to be more frequent recon with a solid cat4, which appears to be intensifying, approaching landfall into populated areas. I mean its definetly within the realm of possibility for the eastern eyewall to go over a heavily populated area like Mobile, it would be nice to know what exactly is in that eyewall
