Here comes Karl... (NHC 5:30 TWO)

#1 Postby yoda » Wed Sep 15, 2004 4:58 pm

THE TROPICAL WAVE LOCATED ABOUT 325 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHWEST OF THE
CAPE VERDE ISLANDS CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION.
CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR THIS SYSTEM TO BECOME A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION OVER THE NEXT DAY OR SO AS IT MOVES TO THE WEST OR
WEST-NORTHWEST.

LOL.....and to think, once upon a time, half the people in here were writing off this season and playing watch-the-blob! Oh, how a few months can change things....

That one behind him could be Lisa. Thats the one to watch out for. The pattern may continue: major storms threatening the US every 3rd storm. eg Charley, then Frances, and then Ivan.

Wow I just realized something. Look at the upper left portion of the infrared. Looks kind of like a devilish omen to me.

Up in the upper left corner in the picture at the top of the thread. Looks kind of like a antelope face. The right side is more defined than left.
