Are you all crazy? There are mountains on Hispaniola, and they will keep Jeane from strengthening, and any deviation more south or further west, will seriously distrupt the storm. The center doesn't need to be on the mountains for the mountains to ruin its structure.

Smaller the less the mountains will affect it...Much smaller outflow boundrys..

And you base this on movement on the coast of Hispanola, WOW, you should work for the NHC if this verifies. LOL

Nope. Try again... Smaller the less moisture it will take, and the greater chance the mountains will make it into nothing. Smaller circulations.. riding the coast, worse than large circulations riding the coast. With a large circulation it would be able to pull some moisture from the ocean.

And of course, I could be wrong on this.
